13 in 2013 UFO Challenge

This coming year my dear daughter-in-law, Donna, and I decided we needed to complete some of our long standing projects that seem to mount each year. So this is the challenge - we will finish one project a month = 12, and one to each other that we won't tell each other. That brings our total to 13.

If you would like to join us, please do, and comment on my site and I will list my finishes as well.  Donna - the deal is on.

I'll be happy to join you. I think I have at least that many that just need quilting and binding!

It is so good to hear from Pat and Susan. I lurk on Facebook and enjoy your comments. Pat, that saved puppy video yesterday was a tearful one! I am combining knitting into my challenge, so my UFO for January is to finish the Kate Middleton Milk Run Shawl. Hope to finish early in January so I can get to work on the Sock Monkey Baby Quilt for my niece Klarisa. Would like to get it to the quilter as a Feb. project. On a fiscal cliff note, this challenge saved me from ordering a $40 skein of yarn last night on etsy!

Will do! I had already purchased the yarn for a Downton Abbey Mystery KAL on Ravelry. Did the gauge swatch last night. First clue will be revealed on the Jimmy Bean Wool blog on Sunday, Jan. 6, with a new clue and two hours of knitting required every Sunday night that Downton Abbey is on PBS for the new season. No clue as to what we are knitting, just that it will be an accessory someone from the era of the show might wear. Might be my March project?
