First Attempts

My granddaughter Hannah wanted to make a hat for the new baby sister or brother coming this summer. She decided on white since it would work for either.  Her other grandma gave her a knitting set for Christmas and I finally figured out how to use it.
Hannah worked on it for two days and finished it in time to give it to Mom on her first surprise shower for the baby.
And of course being Hannah, she had to practice at being pregnant.

They all had fun at the party.

My granddaughter Elaine was learning how to cross stitch and is making a tea pot to put on a bag to carry her Bible in.  She learned very fast and is doing a super job.

Oh Carol, doesn't it just make you feel so wonderful & proud to pass on sewing skills to the grands! I know I love it when one of my grands shows an interest :) We shall keep this skills alive!
